Mombasa Updates

When you talk about Mombasa, you are talking about a very unique city, unique island and very busy town. It's actually an Island that sprawls to the surrounding mainlands. The island is separated from the mainland by two creeks i.e Kilindini Harbour and Tudor Creek. Besides being an island, it is connected to the mainland to the south by the Likoni ferry, to the north by the Nyali bridge, and to the west by the Makupa Causeway, alongside which runs the Kenya-Uganda Railway. The port in Mombasa serves both Kenya and countries of the interior, linking them to the ocean. The city is served by Moi International Airport located in the northwest mainland suburb of Chaani. KIZINGO is Considered the prime residential area of Mombasa. The Mombasa Law Courts, State House of Mombasa, Municipal Council and the Provincial Headquarters are all located in Kizingo. The county government of Mombasa together with the municipal council of Mombasa county are now working harder to make sure they meet their goal of tidying up the county. This has thereby brought so much into light since it was realised that Some areas were used as damping site whereas they could have been used constructively. Like before this activity could have been handled just like those old days where it was roughly done and it was done to the places near the town areas where there are alot of activities going on, this time round the cleaning is meant to be thorough and inside out of the town and the whole of Mombasa and all its community and neighbours. The County Council took its responsibility to allocate duties to sub-counties,wards,constituency and the whole community at large and ensuring they are done with the standard that was agreed upon. county council therefore selected supervisors, foremen, craftsmen and other labourers to work to ensure the county is in better conditio

 For a period of almost one month a strong and hot sunlight has been recorded in the whole of coast region. people had planted their maize and other crops but no rain. Normally, in the Coastal region it always rains in December.. small rain in November as it gets a little heavy towards the December. Rain being an issue in the coast, over the years it always rain very little. but in times like this, almost ending the year october toward December there's always some little rain. but maybe not this time round of the year.  Things have been so much different this time, even the professional weather forecasters gave wrong prediction for this year in the coast. they predicted a cold season towards the end of October but that never came to happen, infact sun got much hotter than normal. today being on monday, 12th of December, a Jamhuri day, of 2022 at around 5am, very thick clouds appeared in the sky. most of them came from the south..
