When you talk about Mombasa, you are talking about a very unique city, unique island and very busy town. It's actually an Island that sprawls to the surrounding mainlands. The island is separated from the mainland by two creeks i.e Kilindini Harbour and Tudor Creek. Besides being an island, it is connected to the mainland to the south by the Likoni ferry, to the north by the Nyali bridge, and to the west by the Makupa Causeway, alongside which runs the Kenya-Uganda Railway. The port in Mombasa serves both Kenya and countries of the interior, linking them to the ocean. The city is served by Moi International Airport located in the northwest mainland suburb of Chaani.  For a period of almost one month a strong and hot sunlight has been recorded in the whole of coast region. people had planted their maize and other crops but no rain. Normally, in the Coastal region it always rains in December.. small rain in November as it gets a little heavy towards the December.
